Customizing touch control keys on Dell Studio laptop

I have a Dell Studio 1735 w/ Vista. The keyboard has media touch controls (eject, volume, play, pause, etc.) It has this one button that launches the Dell Media Center program. I want to disable or change what that button does. Pressing it while the computer is off will boot the computer, which is very annoying.

I've been all over Google and the Dell forums, but nobody else seems to want to change this. I guess I am unique. Does anyone have any ideas?

You're not unique, but it can't be disabled. (Dell Inspiron E1505 owner)
