Microsoft has extended hardware discounts it offered to Windows 7 launch party hosts to the general public.

"These offers are now available to people who didn't host a party so everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of these deals," Microsoft said Thursday.

Some of the savings are significant.

Microsoft is offering $30 off its Explorer Mini Mouse and $45 off the price of the Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 through Buy.com. And it's teamed with Amazon to deliver 37% instant savings on the Lifecam Cinema, which shoots video in 720p High Definition.

Other deals are also available.
