Four men, including a 64-year-old Michigan resident known as the "Godfather of Spam," were sentenced to several years in prison Tuesday for conspiring to commit wire fraud, mail fraud, and violate federal Can-Spam legislation.

"Godfather" Alan Ralsky will serve 51 months in prison, while Scott Bradley – Ralsky's son-in-law – was sentenced to 40 months. Both men were also hit with five years of supervised release following their time served, and ordered to each forfeit $250,000 that was seized by the government in December 2007.

How Wai John Hui, a 51-year-old resident of Hong Kong and Canada, also got 51 months in prison, three years supervised release, and $500,000 in fines. California resident John S. Bown, 45, will serve 32 months, three years of supervised release, and forfeit $120,000 to the U.S. government.

Several other conspirators got sentences ranging from one day to 51 months.
