Microsoft To Hold Windows 7 Summit Next Month
Microsoft will hold a three day event at its Redmond, Wash.-based headquarters next month to give software and hardware developers in-depth information on Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, directly from the Microsoft teams that built the products.
Microsoft's first-ever Windows Summit, to be held from May 25th to 27th, will include keynote addresses from Windows executives, as well as technical breakout sessions and face time with technical experts in the Windows organization.
The event, which includes a $399 registration fee, includes tracks for developers that work with systems, devices, and software, and will focus on issues such as performance and reliability, improving battery life and implementation of touch-enabled PCs.
Through direct interaction with Microsoft staffers, developers will be able to sharpen their skills around the technologies in Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, according to Microsoft.
