    Outlook 2003 question

When I open Outlook 2003, it does go to my INBOX, but I need to click on SEND/RECEIVE to get the messages. There must be a setting to automatically download new messages when I open Outlook, and also to check for new messages every so often ?? Many thanks, Mike

    Open Outlook. Tools > Options.

On the Mail Setup tab you'll find the various settings by clicking the 'Send/Receive' button.

Don't forget to click Apply after any changes and restart Outlook.

Reverend, Thanks for the info, but that setting refers to both SEND & Receive. If I change that to say every 5 minutes, won't it also SEND an email that I may be in the middle of ?? Thanks, Mike

It should only send an email that is completed. (i.e. in the outbox)
