Blank tab in Windows 7
If you click on the blank tab up at the top of the screen in Windows 7, (IE9) it lists the sites you visited the most. This is handy at times, but it also defeats the
IN PRIVATE BROWSING feature. Is there an easy way to turn this feature off
and on again if desired ?? Thanks, Mike

Reverend...Thanks for the info, but those steps seem to be AFTER the fact.
I was hoping to remove the feature that your frequent sites you visit are displayed when you click on the blank tab. Mike

Tools > Internet Options.
On the "General" tab click the Settings button next to 'Tabs'.
From the drop down menu under 'When a new tab is opened, open:' select either 'Your first home page' or 'A blank page'.
Click OK > OK.
