Apple's forums remain a hotbed of angry posts after iOS 8.0.2 failed to fix iPhones and iPads slowed almost to a halt by the company's previous iOS 8.0.1 release.

Errors such a loss of network and WiFi connectivity, freezing apps, syncing problems, and bugs with the Safari web browser are being reported by forum users.

Despite being released to plug the problems in the previous version of Apple's mobile operating system, it would appear iOS 8.0.2 has broken as much as it has fixed.

After complaints about the bugs iOS 8.0.1 caused for several generations of the iPhone – having been originally rolled out to fix errors in iOS 8 – Apple promptly pulled the update and replaced it with iOS 8.0.2.

While some savvy users have found ways to work around the problems, others have been left to either vent their frustration on the forums or visit one of Apple's stores.

One forum user was particularly incensed by the errors encountered on the iPhone 6: "Ridiculous. Apple really needs to get it together. This is the worst OS release yet."

Another complained: "After updating to iOS 8.0.2 [I] have problems with my cellular reception on iPhone 5S, no service appears every few minutes."

Other complaints were voiced on Twitter.
