Online auction site eBay is making it easier to trade in a smartphone.

Dubbed Quick Sale, the new program, which launched on Monday, will allow any smartphone owner to quickly type in the device they'd like to trade in, get a value, and print out a free shipping label. Once complete, customers can send the phone to eBay and get paid once the company has received it and verified its condition.

EBay's new Quick Sale joins countless competitors in the booming used smartphone business. Companies as far-ranging as Apple, Amazon, and GameStop all offer a recycling or trade-in program to customers looking to ditch their aging devices for something new. Customers often get paid based on the phone they're trading in, its condition, and what the buyer can get in a refurbished sale.

EBay was quick to note that the iPhone 7 is launching on Friday, so selling your old phone via Quick Sale could help you pay for the new one.

Since Aug. 1, an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s model has sold every minute on eBay, suggesting sellers are looking to upgrade. The average seller is making up to $438 on the iPhone 6 line and up to $601 on the iPhone 6s Plus.

In addition to taking in orphaned phones, eBay says that it will provide users with "simple directions" on how to prepare your phone in advance of a trade-in.
