    Moving Program Files

I have to help out a older gentleman that has a VERY full C: drive and an almost empty D: drive. I've seen a utility that will move files from the Program Files directory to another drive and redirect the program icons etc. ...and for the life of me I can remember where I saw it!! HELP!! He's wanting me to do this this evening(time frame is limited...for him) so any help/pointers is welcome!!

    TIA

I personally would use an imaging prog...like ghost or drive image...then just reimage the hard drive to the new one. But the prog you are talking about is in partition magic...think its called magic mover.

I would try the free imaging software from this site:

Thanks for the tips...I found the one I was looking for at PC Mag's site...it's called COA2(Change Of Address). Works VERY well...and lets you "undo" what you did...keeps track of the last 9 chages that you made and tells you exactly what was done. Which ini file, what part of the registry, even which shortcuts have been changed! And it's free...which I like a lot!!

You can check it out here...
