    check out the new toy

My mother inlaw bought us a dv camcorder for my wifes b-day check it out http://www.canondv.com/zr60/f.html .Just got it today so far without reading the manual much was able to figure it without a problem for my son's bday party today. Did some surfing on it tonight and the only drawback was the lowlight but an optional light fixes that and it is only around 40bucks. I will give a personal review after I start playing with it on the pc. Oh yeah comes with a free copy of pinnicle 8.0

Nice compact design. Viewfinder is a plus. Firewire interface for fast DV transfers. The 18X zoom lens will come in handy..
    Can't beat that price!
    Lovely gift from the mother-in-law.

from all the reviews I read the only CON for this camera is that it doesnt do to well under lowlight conditions like I posted, but I just shot my daughters ballet recital so I will see it for myself later tonight. Guess I'm gonna have to get another hd too fit the home movies on. Got it all figured out "Gee hun gonna have to del this movie since we're running out of hard drive space"

Definitely a VERY nice Camera, I wish my Parents were as nice!

Hope you dont get addicted to Home Movies!

Well you were hoping for a computer upgrade soon, with HUGE HD, and FAST DVD-Burner! and BIG SCREEN. Your wife will want all these!! You no complain though, right
