    Speed Up Outlook And Hotmail

This tweak fixes the issue of Hotmail or Outlook being slow after Disabling or Removing Messenger.

This Tweak will prevent Messenger from loading when you access your account via the Hotmail web page, it will also prevent the delay when Messenger has been removed or disabled.

Go to Start --> Run and type regedit
Navigate to the Registry Key below.

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Messenger.MsgrObject.

Right click on the Messenger.MsgrObject key and select rename.
    Rename it to Messenger.MsgrObjectold

    SOURCE: MAX over at xp-erience.org

As always back up your registry before applying any fixes, or changes!
    BB

I am going to try this now, as I hate having messenger popup everytime I try to check my hotmail!

I'm also going to try this, i absolutely hate it when messenger pops up in what ever action i do in which i didn't actually open it by choice!

P.S. I see alot of registry fixes/tips are always wrote down in their purest simplest form, isn't there a standard yet that allows user's to just download the fix, and install it into the registry with a single click of the mouse?

A seperate registry key that you can add to the registry like "cracks" for programs often do maybe?

I'll have to look on how to make them
