Question Need Outlook 2003 addon: sort emails in special folders?

    Hi!

At first I am working with Outlook 2003 and an Exchange 2003 Server.
The Exchange server has a 32 K rule limitation for every user.
For this reason I need an Outlook 2003 addon to sort all incoming mails in special folders.
Is something like this anywhere available?

    Regards,

    Open outlook,
    Click tools,
    Click rules and alerts
click under email rules, NEW RULE,
The choose your preferred method of sorting and grouping. It is pretty much self-explanatory from there. There are many many conditions and rules that can be applied. And you can create your own if needed. Folders can be added new, or you can use the pre-existing folders...

    Hope that helps.

    Big Booger thx!

I know this option. But the rule limitation is still there.

So how can an addon bypass the rule limitation if it is still there when y ou sort it into different folders?

This does exactly the same thing you asked. I don't see how an addon can change the rule, if it is set via the exchange server?

    Care to elaborate?

Because an addon (extern tool) store all his rules in a extern rule database. addons 'mostly' don't use outlook database.

    this is the trick.
