Does anyone know how to? I installed a program that I do not want and there are entries in registry that refuse to delete.

When you try to delete it says sorry can't delete ? or does the reg entry just go back in ?

System Restore always works and if it doesn't there's always your favorite [........] but I won't say that LK favorite word

    Format.....sorry couldn't help myself

I just reformatted last week or so! This does not seem to be affecting anything it's just annoying the fact that I know it's there and it won't go away. I'll try safe mode.

*edit - safe mode does not make any difference

Is is better than JV16? It seems to be ignoring those entries.

*edit - actually JV16 registry finder seems to work.

*edit again - only got one of them - there are several more.

This was the app (though it was version 6.0) - http://www.sidefx.com/news/houdini_61/index.html
So you still can't delete the reg entry ?

I will install that software on my test rig and let you know how to get rid of it....if possible

    FastGame vs Houdini....round one

[edit]= WoW that thing is 59mb...I thought it was 5mb, going to be awhile on my dialup

I deleted the program - no problem. There are stubborn reg entries though.

Look under Side Effects Software in the registry and delete that first. Then delete the Houdini entry.Might work.
