You would first need the pin out diagram from the manufacturer. This would explain which pins did what and you could then determine the correct way to attach to the new connector.
well i can not even find anything on ASYS power supplies....
I wouldn't be fooling around with the insides of the power supply unless you absolutely knew what you were doing (like have an electronics background).
well i dont know exactly what im doing but i have some idea.....thats why i needed some help...but if it means getting killed i dont think it worth it....
You want to plug the fan into the motherboard ?
I wouldn't plug that fan into the motherboard, the MB headers aren't made for much of a load other than the small fans on the chipsets.
well ok.....thanks anyway
So what are you going to do ? or want to do ?
well.....from what other people posted...i dont think i will,
so thanks to everyone for your info and help
and from what you posted FastGame
Your welcome & good luck!
ok, thanks alot.....im just not going to mess with it
A wise decision young padawan...just kidding...but a wise decision just the same. Do take the time though and see what you can learn about the subject....after all, knowledge is POWER!!!!Originally Posted by aaron737
