    DVD-R or DVD+R??

Ok, I just got a dual format DVD writer I/O Magic. Have to thank Mum for it, since she pushed Circuit City and got it on sale (last one)
Well, I am thinking to use it to record my Animes, since they usually can take up to 20 CDs (It is going to be easier to use a couple of DVDs instead)
But I don't know which format I should use.
I read about the differences between them, but I still can't figure them out

I too have heard this. You should visit dvdrhelp.com and see if your player is listed and what format(s) it plays.

There is a version for DVDs?? or Just 6 would do??
Which is the best media also??
I think I just gonna buy the cheapest DVD-R I find on sale, as I do with CD-Rs. After all, I am so busy recording that I don't use them
But, some stuff would be nice to keep
