    Has anyone seen this? It actually seems to work or it's just my imagination

    well i still have a prob after using it, my av runs like hes a old 286, in ie hes normal speed, but in firefox slower the nav 2004 on a 486. andf i even tryed installin it on my ramdrive, same performance,

    its an easy way of doing this without config.

    user_pref("nglayout.initialpaint.delay", 0);
    user_pref("network.http.pipelining", true);
    user_pref("network.http.proxy.pipelining", true);
    user_pref("network.http.pipelining.maxrequests", 100);

    Been working fine for about a half year for me. If you go somewhere that doesn't support http.pipelining your browser will freeze up.
