    what are these drives?

Hello, i'm wondering what local disk is and the extra DVD drive is there for. I disabled all drives in Daemon tools but have these.

Hmm... Local Disk actually means (Win XP) your Hard Disk.
That could be a partition or virtual dirve. The DVD drive could also be a virtual drive.
I assume the rest are physically there? Except these 2 unknowns. You'll have to wait for the Vet to answer as I am not sure. Just my opinion becasue I accidentally created virtual drives from B:, F:-AZ: using a virtual drive program. Drives A:,C:,D:,E: are physically on my computer. I could not get rid of this until I did a sys restore.
