Surf in safety with any browser, Sandboxie.
"Tired of dealing with rogue software, spyware and malware?
Tired of spending countless hours removing unsolicited software?" "Sandboxie allows you to run your browser, or any other program, so that all changes that result from the usage are kept in a sandbox environment, which can then be deleted later. This allows you to remove traces of your internet or PC activities, as well as reverse any changes to your Favorites, home page, registry and more. Even files that were downloaded during a sandbox session will be wiped after the sandbox is cleared. The program runs in the system tray and if you want to start a sandboxed session, simply launch your browser, or any other program via the tray icon, rather than the regular way." Its free, works real good and no slow downs, uses 2mb in system tray ![]() http://www.sandboxie.com/ |

I installed it. Nothing but problems with it. Thought I would have to format.
Install with caution.

I went to a bunch of sites and got a whole bunch of bad crap, exited IE, deleted sandbox and PC was like untouched ![]() I don't know what the deal is with efc no one else reports such problems I don't know what possibly could lead to a format installs and uninstalls easy as pie ![]() Of coarse when it installs says something about other programs running and might inhibit the installation..... The uninstalled failed. The Sandbox was still intack yet the program was dissabled. I had to boot into safe mode to run uninstall a second time. Finally got everything back to normal.
The reason I uninstalled is that it slowed my system down.

In my case it slowed down significantly.
Maybe there is something on my machine that it doesn't like. ![]() I am not trying to talk people out of installing it. I did however, have a bad experience and think others should know that experiences have not all been good.
