Hmm... its a little weird, how old is your DVD player? Is it just a ROM and not a RW? Do any other movies not work or just Am.Hist.X ?? Sounds like something is wrong with the disc that newer dvd drives can bypass (ie, little scratches or errors)... but if you do need to upgrade, look for a cheap DVD-RW, they're around $40 here :) goodluck.
