Well I'd play ya but for some reason I just can't get on BB's server, it says server timed out...been playing on all kinds of other servers so I don't know whats up :(
Watch out for Lynch...we played on a server with all the cheats & Lynch is crazy ! he stands in open firing rockets as fast as trigger pulls killing 5 guy's at once including me..lol

Click Start, Click Run,
Type: ping techzonez.dyndns.org
Then look at the IP, write it down and connect. Simple as that.

I still can't get into techzonez. If you guys want to try out that heavily modified game, it's called Rocketmonkey 64.240.57.213 - i'ts really fast no limit on ammo and no reloading. The weapons shoot super fast.
I can't access either, but I used to be able to access. Maybe BB is sleeping (is 3 AM there) and the servers is sleeping too :p
just so i can get all my monkeys in a barrell...
I just got allied assault. I need the following:
the patch to 1.11
Then install spearhead (still working on that one)
Then do i need to patch spearhead?
Also, any mods that I need?

Are you behind a router? that is the only time I have seen troubles with users joining the server.
If so, I suggest making sure you have opened your ports inside your router for MOHAA.

no router that I know of, tried firewall & no firewall so I'm lost cuz I can play on every server that doesn't require a password & some kick me out cuz of my ping. Your's keeps saying Sever timed out...tried many times. must be on my end, but ?????
I'm getting server timed out as well. I have changed nothing and can get on other servers. BB, I think that's all of us that can't get on.

XP imposes a lot of default security without asking, perhaps you should check through the security policies.
Failing that you could always run the linux version of the MOHAA server

Well I am trying to run it with windows 2003 server.. but I just found out, the server won't even connect to the internet..

I just finally got spearhead (i'm a little slow) and now when I go to download the 2.11 patch, I'm getting a file not found.
I went to the Medal of Honor website (Medal of Honor) and all they have is a Spearhead Multiplayer Demo Patch v2.11 (384k)...
Anyone have a copy of the patch I can grab?

I am still having problems getting Mohaa Server to run in windows 2003 server.. For some reason I can see it on my LAN, but I cannot even join from my LAN.. very strange. I have been working on this for 2 days now, and cannot figure it out. I think it has something to do with windows 2003 security settings but I have, as of yet, been unable to figure it out. I may just go back to windows XP, or better yet, host it on a linux server.

Well BB it's sure nice of you too go through all this trouble for us :) I know you don't want to be stumped on this cuz your BB who doesn't give up...if you want to take a break ;) there are a bunch of servers out there that don't have anyone playing so maybe we can decide which one we'll take over..lol

Last nite I was kicking butt, learned how to master the sniper rifle. Everyones ping was 50 and mine was 250 but I was killing um right & left...couple guys started cussing me out :p

Does this mean we will need to apply the 2.15 patch to connect to Big Boogers server?
Don't update your client yet. I will be patching this ASAP but not right now. I will keep you updated when I get the patch installed. Still working on windows 2003 server configuration with this game.. very strange. :p

It is up right now. I have decided to use windows XP pro, until I can get enough time to really work out the kinks with Windows 2003 Enterprise Server..

so for the 56k'ers is it better that the ping # is higher or lower?
the lower the ping the better, but gameplay is fine even at pings of around 250-300.. as long as everyone else is at that ping value...
If you find yourself on a server with people in the >100 PING range, and you are at 500, you will be slaughtered.
If you get a ping above 600... it's best to change servers...
B.B's on the money
if your ping is higher then 600 your easy meat and your living in LAG city.:(
always best to find better servers with average low ping rates or severs with less people
I'll take the servers with less people....i think my rear was blown off quite too many times last night :(
