Dell PC System Restore by Symantec
I am setting up a new Dell computer for a friend. It is an entry level Dell Dimension 1100. There is a feature called Dell PC System Restore by Symantc on the machine. If the computer should crash, you press Control and F11 when booting. This takes you to a screen where you folow the directions, and your computer will be restored to the same condition as when you bought it, with the operating system, drivers, and installed programs etc. Hover I notice that when this screen comes up to do the restore, I see Norton Ghost 10. That is all well and find, however, this Ghost program is a trial version for 90 days. After this trial period is over, will the ability to restore the computer to its original state, also be gone ?
