Twitter Reveals "Most Tweeted About Games" In The First Half Of 2022

Twitter has decided to share which games have received the most attention on Twitter thus far. This has become an annual tradition for the social media platform.

Most tweeted about games for the first half of 2022:

• Genshin Impact
• Wordle
• Ensemble Stars!
• Final Fantasy
• Project Sekai
• Apex Legends
• Elden Ring
• Fate/Grand Order
• Valorant
• The Legend of Zelda

Japan was the country with the most amount of gaming tweets in 2022 so far. The U.S., South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Philippines, India, U.K., and Mexico round out the top ten.

Overall, Twitter says there were about 1.5 billion tweets for gaming. That’s a 36 percent increase year-over-year.
