you all know me iv been here for quite some time asnd have taken a warmth to this palce iv tryed helping but in the end always end up the one that needs help, dang high performace parts never seem to live up to my expectations so i push and it pushes back in a bad way lol, iv since found a perfect configuration, mobo, cpu.mem, vid that work as hard as i want it to , and i always know how to keep the ambient temp to 20 c or under even in summer, im the over clocker, that had to go that extra step., by burning one rig and creating as new one in its ashes, this place has been their for me from start to finnish with my first rig to the new one, and well i consider this place my second home besides the one im in now lol, and ill do what i can to help it out as much as i can,
and for a brief history of how techzonez became such a great tech site. This should take care of all the 1500+ posters. :D
Lol, nice piece of history Phish... I was first started out on Peppy Forum too, was introduced by SupaStar, we were mates from University Course. Then, like the others, when Peppy's went down I took some time off, then joined up with Techzonez. Not thinking much of it, but then really got into power use of XP and needed lots of help. Then I was able to help others too. So after being a member for 18mths was promoted to TZ veteran status (lol on my B'day too) was excellent feeling actually. To be part of a close knit group. Cheers.
LOL *remembers the old days of peppy's*
:)
Peppy's was the 1st forum that I ever joined! :msncool:Quote:

What's up guys, I'm new to the site as you can see. Saw a tidbit (don't actually think I've ever spelled that word before) on Screensavers the other night... Love the site, I think it's way more user friendly and open minded then some other big name tech sites. great to see!
Welcome to Techzonez cardriver. always good to have new faces around...
Hey cardriver nice to have you at TZ, a bunch of us are TechTv fans so you'll fit in just fine :)Quote:

I belonged to a forum Wxpierence.com (think thats what it was called lol), I think it was Reverends first forum ? anyway Rev was one of our Gurus and one day he told us about his new forum so some of us joined TZ (MSFN also) and Xpierence went down the tube...heheQuote:

My name is Big Booger. I am thrilled to be here. I am a recovering alcoholic. I have been off the substance for 1 year 8 months, 7 days, 5 hours, 3 minutes, and 30 seconds. I just wanna say that you guys have helped me keep it together. Without you, well, I think I would have fallen back on the booze.
:D
Why recover Boogs?
Well, I'm just rik and I've been "unrecovering" for years now...not that I'm old by any means eh Rev? ;)
I found this site when MSFN went on the fritz awhile back and just kinda stuck around...That is a great site but I just seemed to fit in here better. These guys don't mind my warped sense of humor :spaced: :jester:
Hehehe...and now you're on the green...;)Quote:

Got a useful freeware site which you might like to add to the freeware resources thread.
Will float around in limbo a while and see what happens :)
Welcome to TZ. Where abouts in Australia are you from? Good to have another local on board...I guess that makes 3... :)

Welcome to TZ :)
What are you studying?
Welcome to Techzonez ThaLaM...
Isn't a conestoga a type of wagon? I vaguely remember that from a junior high school history course. Welcome to TZ! Enjoy your stay.
biker lives pretty close too me. I believe zero too lives in the north county.
I really enjoyed reading this post LOL. Starting from what Rik posted to what it came out (britannica's definitions) ROLF :rofl2:
Anyhow, it seem I missed both threads about the TZ history  (Must have been my absent times)
Well, I joined back in April r 2002, just the next day Reverend's XP opened. First Forum I ever joined. I don't even remember what I was looking for, but I remember I didn't find it :p Thought I found something else (besides you guys..)
I was convinced here that XP was the best OS from M$ (I hated XP at the moment, and I still think I had founded reasons :p)
Now I have come to actually just accept it. I would like Linux better if I could actually understand it ;)
Here is where I post all my rants, because is the only forum I can keep active. It takes me a couple hours a day just to go thru the info here, so there is no time for othe forums. I tried a couple of forums, but I was always kicked for inactivity :p
Frustrated Network Administrator, looking for a better company where I can ACTUALLY ADMINISTER THE NETWORK :p and always getting in more stuff that I can handle
Hello there! I'm dt1... Last year I was looking for help for... something or another... and by accident I found 'techzonez'... and thankfully it has been a God send!
I'd love to post more but I haven't got a clue what I'm doing! haha... So my posts tend to be 'stoopid' in nature - sorry about that but even nOObs need to learn...I've gotta be the oldest nOOb around!
Anyway, just thought I'd say - I agree with everyone elses comments that this is a relaxed place with a good community spirit! Kool and the gang...
Hey, nothing is too stupid!! Someone said to me the other day, the only stupid question is the one you dont ask...or something like that...what a crock of sh*t...LoL
Welcome to TZ and feel free to post away...even if you don't know what's going on :D You learn by doing and you have to start somewhere.
