Btw Cool desk Dave
nice desktop!
U know, that desktop is the default Fedora 5, so I actually didn't do any work, but I really liked it.
Batman, you customize your desktops a lot, would it be too much to ask how many resources they use? I am sure that some are lighter on the system than others.
I had one that I made some long time ago, I really, really liked it, but it would use about 15 to 20% CPU and 125 MB RAM
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6...20059bo.th.jpg
Note that all the objects are actually part of the desktop, and not on top (even the dual wallpapers) That is why it used so muh RAM.
BTW, why I can only see 10 images in imageshack?

& "Happy April Fools Day" to All :p
& btw the Resources that i use do take some amount of RAM,but i prefer only those which consume LESS amount of RAM he he lol
But i do have 768 MB RAM bcoz i'm a more Gaming Person &there usually 22-23 programs running & thats OK to me & my CPU usage it shows as only 7% (when i'm not playing any Game) So thats Cool to me :)
I think she had an "accident" on your desktop! ;)
He he lol :D ;)Quote:

well, you felt blue at the same time I was preparing my blue desktop, so I decided to go with grey :p It has an Aple feel to it, which is getting old, but I still think it is quite neat

I have another PC that I have changed and I like the theme, but it is minimalist type since I use it to monitor services, so if I get out of the lazy mood (it is 85 degress in my office) I will take the screenshot and post it.:p I use LiteStep in the other PC

I will dub this one, Feeling Green. The config for the sytem monitor work pretty good with the new wallpaper thanks to the transparency, so I left them unchanged. http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/1...20068bi.th.jpg
grenwall VS Style and dewdrop wallpaper.
Now, look at this effect

The winamp seems to be behind the leave. I think it looks cool :D
I also will post the work on progress from the blue desktop that I was going to post but batman was faster :p

I had just started. Didn't even worked on the clocks and I was feeling lazy, so it was easy to switch :p, but I like the wallpaper with the VS style, so I might try it again next week
PS: I just changed it again, but it is minimal. Now the system clock shows both CPUs
New at work.
