If you have a add on video card make sure it did not get bumped during the ram install. You may need to re-seat it. Check all and any thing that may have become dislodged during the change over.

Vista Business is what I am running and it works great. Been using it since the launch.
If you are using SP2 disable the firewall and try again. If this should be it you will have to configure the firewall on both machines.
From what I can see the card must be version 2.1 for Vista. Do you know what version the card is?
You might want to try this first (IMHO)
1] Defrag the hard drive.

Do a HDD defrag. Reboot and see if the problem goes away. If not open "Task Manager" to see what is running. Start with the program that you think may be causing the problem and use the "End Process"...
