I ran SmartDefrag on a fully defraged HD (XP defrager) and SmartDefrag said no fragmented files, moved a couple files around and thats it.

I've used PerfectDisk for years and went back to the XP...

If I remember correct;y (yes ;) ) you already had the best DVD software, really no need to buy something unless it was CloneDVD or the paid version of DVDFab.

Freeware is still the king IMO.

Hello Bubba, in what way does you PC run slower ?

Maybe when you added the extra ram the bios re-set the ram (or CPU) to a slower default speed ?

List your system spec's and what OS. Run CPU-Z...

Most of the work I've been getting is wiping Vista off new laptops and re-installing XP. I don't know anyone in my personal life that likes Vista, I gave it a fair try and its junk IMO.
