    Cannot display this video mode

    I am having the same problem.Seems to be only happening to dell monitors.I have the 17inch LCD display as well and a geforce 4..Ive found overriding the refresh rate to what your monitor will handle for each resolution worked for me.That way when you run your program or in your case switching users and it tries to put it outside its display, it cant...Hope this helps with you as it did with me....Dell has an article about this you can find it at support.dell.com
