Long on freeze

Hopefully someone can help!!!!! I'm running xp home and after I long on with my screen name the whole computer freezes up and I can't do anything. It only gets as far as the blue screen then nothing. Any suggestions?

no seriously here... can you enter your screen name or is this before you can manipulate the cursor? if you can enter your username try (if you havn't stipped this out) entering the username "administrator" with no pass I beleive. and see if that boots into winxp...
