Receiving images in e-mails
I am the only one who cannot receive the graphics that a friend sends via e-mail. I can receive the graphics from other senders, just not from this one. I am able to send graphics. I use Windows XP and Outlook Express. She uses Windows ME and Microsoft Outlook. Help, please

Under Tools, Options, Security, do you have this option unchecked "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"?

Yes, it is unchecked. Appreciate your patience. Brenda Joyce

Are the pictures "embedded" in the e-mail or are they listed as jpeg attachments which you could double-click on? I receive some pictures thru e-mail which don't display as you scroll down the message, so I have to double-click each one to view them.

They are embedded, usually sent on stationery. Example: blue checked background with green frog graphic upper ldft corner. The sender uses a special font and my computer will not even receive that the way it is sent. Brenda Joyce

This is a silly question, Mr. Conan, but do you have any further suggestions for my problem?
If not, I appreciate your time and attention. Brenda Joyce

Right now I'm stumped. Maybe others could chime in with their opinion.
