    Question Installing XP Powertoy/"Timershot"

    Hello all,
I tried installing an XP PowerToy called "Timershot". (Allows you to take pictures with a webcam at set intervals.)
My webcam was not recognized under Timershot's "devices" and I wasn't able to use the program.
There is also a video snapshot function on XP, (this is separate from the Timershot program). The XP video snapshot worked, allowing me to use the webcam.

*(I also have recently installed the software that came with the webcam, which functions properly.)

-Do I need to do something with the camera's driver?
-When installing this Timershot Powertoy; should "add/remove components", "add remove programs", or neither be used to install it?

Thanks in advance for any input.

You don't have to use the add/remove components to install anything really. I use it only for uninstallation.

Did you connect your webcam to you computer first? Maybe thats why it does not detect your webcam.

Ok, this time I uninstalled Timershot/and deleted all the files associated with it (anything with the name "timershot")/disconnected camera/rebooted/(just) opened Timershot, which installed it/rebooted/connected camera/ran Timershot...

...This time the devices drop window actually came down (unlike before), but still no devices recognized.

Then I tried disconnecting camera/running the program first/then re-connected the camera...still the same.
