    long delay

    Anyone know why I get a really long delay on 'applying user settings' when connecting from an XP PRO workstation to a 2003 server.

    They are on the same hub and it happens whatever account I use....

    This usually indicates a DNS problem. Is the client PC pointing only to the
    domain DNS server for address resolution?

    The clientshould be looking at the domain DNS server and only the domain DNS server to resolve names.
