Hmmm...I think the majority only do JPEG these days. Some let you choose TIFF, but I don't know of any that do PNG.
Damn, I guess png compression must take more procesing power? Why else wouldn't they have png. Even the TIFF is stored uncompressed
I have used IrfanView for many years to convert image files from one format to another. You can batch convert many files in a single operation. Freeware

the only problem I have with jpg is that it screws up the image. Zoom in on any jpg image and you'll understand what I mean.
