    DmDiag disk error fix?

Hi, had to reinstall AD due to HDD failure, although this time round when running DmDiag I get an error message returned... "Error in private region of the disk". Have had no luck on the net for articles so far, has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

That page lists an error similar in wording:

---------- Consolidated LDM Configuration Data ----------
    ERROR: scan operation failed:
Format error in disk private region
I think it just means it cannot access the disk. I don't know if there is a fix or not.

The Consolidated LDM Configuration Data section lists error information if the computer has basic or removable devices attached to it. If you receive the preceding error message, the disk is OFF-LINE, BASIC or REMOVABLE. Look at the Drive Letter Usage, Drive Type section to determine the type of disks that are in your computer.

Darn, was hoping it wouldn't be the case as i've only just replaced the disk.

    Anywho, thanks for the reply
