    IE6 in W98SE

    Simple question :
How do I set IE to automatically open maximised whenever I click on a URL (or desktop icon).

Right now I cant find any checkbox that seems to do this in the options/advanced settings ??

I feel stupid, as I'm pretty sure this is a very simple problem. But cant make my mind to remember where you do this

Actually the only way is to manually expand the browser (by dragging and resizing the dimensions), then close it. The next time you click on a URL, the browser will open almost fully maximized. This is one of the quirks with IE. FireFox handles this better.

    Ahhhh.....

So this feature never was there first off ?
    - no wonder why I cant find or remember this setting

    - yes it works by dragging the window corner to largest size you can get - but I thought this was the solution for "dummies"

tx anyway - I may certainly try install a free browser
