    corrupt file downloads

I have tried several times to download several files, .rar .zip .exe and so on. I have downloaded from multiple sources, several different versions and so on. Each time the files I downloaded were corrupted and would not unpack and install.. anyone have any clues about this?

It's on my wife's PC. I don't know what has happened. I am scanning for viruses now. We'll see what that brings up.

Also I have tried to download using firefox, IE, and flashfxp... very odd.

Nevermind. I believe I narrowed it down to an overclocked processor.. very odd.

Haven't heard of OCing causing the problem you describe. Very strange.

As soon as I returned it back to the normal clock frequency, it stopped.. very odd.

Phish, that was the first thing I tried. I even updated firefox to make sure it wasn't some compatibility issue.
