is it worth it

Should my bios be set to 64, 128, 256 for agp graffix?

Ok, yes you can overclock your X800 and yes it's easy. the question should be Is overclocking my X800 worth it ?

Unless you have a high end system its not going to make a difference OC'n the video card, your system CPU could be the bottle neck.

What are your system spec's ?

If you do have a high end PC then OC'n that card really doesn't give you much, after all your X800 pro is up there with the big boys and there's really not much to gain anyway. The biggest difference between your card and the X800 XT is that you have 4 less pixel pipes.

In most cases if you OC your card to its highest limits your probably only going to see a average increase of 8 to 10 FPS. Is that worth the extra heat & troubles you could end up having ?

As for the bios AGP Aperture setting ? depends on how much system ram you have ? if you have 512mb or more the 128mb setting seems to be a good one.

You can get video cards to OC real good if you do voltage mods, flash bios and add better cooling. On the high end cards the generic software OC sometimes isn't worth it, only certain cards are classic OC'ers and save you a bunch of money by buying one. The Nvidia Ti 4200 was such a card, you could save a bunch of $$$ and OC that card so it would run with the best of it's day.

Well I can help you with this on the Nforce2 it's not so much "how high can I OC the CPU"...its a matter of using the correct settings between the CPU & Ram. CPU and Ram in sync at a high FSB is the ticket
