    i386

I understand this folder is used to install windows related "stuff" without using the cd... i might be wrong, but my question is:
Do i really need it? Would anything bad happen if i was to delete the folder? Or if i can't delete it, can i move it?
    i actuall have 2 i386 folders.
    C:\e3bbfe105e6dabd5c99a8034\i386 and
    C:\i386

I have Win xp Pro with sp2.

I think it would be best to leave that folder alone. Deleting system files/folders can only you bring you problems later on.

i386 is the setup files folder. I don't believe you need all of them. Search through the disk cleanup wizard. If you're feeling lucky, move the older of the 2 folders to a safe directory, and reboot. If it works, delete them in a few days. If not, boot into safe mode with command prompt and restore them.

CAUTION: This is NOT the wisest course of action.

Last night, I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know.
    love, piaqt
