    IE file SCRRUN.DLL MISSING

    I have been having trouble with internet explorer for ever. Finally got advice to repair it or reinstall it. I tried both and it said that file SCRRUN.DLL is missing and to rerun setup. I uninstalled IE and reinstalled it and the IE 6 service pack still says teh file is missing.

    Anybody have any advice for me.

    I still have my original windows 98 disc but it is corrupt and wont work.

    I greatly appreciate any help any of you could give me.

    Download the scrrun.dll here. Unzip it and place it in the C:\windows\system directory. Then reboot and run IE repair.
