No sound!
I'm obviously very good at screwing up the computer.
I'm on a WinXP Home Ed. on an...eMachines. Yesterday I was trying to take an old game out and when that told me the file's missing (I've been trying forever to get it out, it's one of those School Tycoon game thingies I had forever ago...), I noticed that my sound is gone.
BUT! I think I may know how I may have screwed this up.
I accidentaly clicked Real Tek AC'97 Audio. I DID cancel it, but now my sound's gone...Er...
What'd I do?! How can I fix this? CAN I fix this? Or do I need to wipe out Windows and start over?

Well since this is posted in the XP section, how about System Restore ? or reinstall your sound card drivers should work just fine

Lordy...
I could slap myself with a raw fish for not thinking of that.
Or, ya know, just blame it on the sickness...
I'll try the restore tomorrow (when my dad's not home...I can hear him now. haha.) and let you know how it goes.
Thanks!

Like the light at the end of the tunnel.
