OK i moved slots and also did ping local host, i recieved a load of info back as below

Pinging s-computer [::1] with 32 bytes of data

min 0ms max 0ms Average 0ms

I presume this means i dont need a cable.

Ive also noticed, when i boot the PC , th econnection is disabled. When i enable it i get the limited connectivity
