apt-get update
apt-get install k3b
there are some additional packages mentioned in the package apt-get them as well if you like.
Add K3b to the menu via Launch - Applications - System - Menu Editor (its in /usr/bin).
Fonts are a bit crap so.........
apt-get install msttcorefonts
- Keep apt-getting til you are happy (or break it).
I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?

Package msttcorefonts is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package msttcorefonts has no installation candidate
and you are correct THE FONTS ARE CRAP!!
