    Eliza the computer therapist

    ELIZA

    I used to have the program version of eliza when I was much younger and it was kind of interesting to me back then.
    Just wanted to know if anyone had the program version (as opposed to the online version)

    Also wanted to know if there are any other interesting AI programs nowadays (other than games) that I could look at.

    Yes, I had the program years ago. It's impressively smart! They're called bots, so you can try Googling for them

    Oh I thought I'd replied already to this thread, prolly to busy in therapy.. She sure did do my head in... Also, she gets very upset if you start using reverse psych back... LOL

    I got an msn bot before from www.mess.be but it wasnt that impressive, was pretty normal, no new tricks.

    @hotmale - Googled it and I'm gonna have to wait for the weekend to try all these and then some more thanks

    Personally it wouldnt help me bcos I know Eliza's not a real person. It only counts when I'm talking to some one real.
