    Yeah. I've noticed a lot of software developers recently going that way. Shame that NeroLINUX isn't open source though. Then it would be free anyway. Anyhow, burning CDs in linux usually has a higher success rate than windows, so it might be worth the $$$s

    Shame that NeroLINUX isn't open source though. Then it would be free anyway.

    open source doesnt mean that the software is free. open source means that the source code for the program is given out and is editable by anyone.

    there are two movements. one is the open source movement. the other is the free software movement. the free software movement means everything is free, except tech support. for more info read the GNU general public licence. the open source movement says that source code is free but the product might or might not be free.
