    Download the attached zip file and unpack the enclosed reg files.

    Double click the reg files to merge them into the registry and this will set "open" back to defaults.

    folderopennosearch.reg is for opening folders

    and

    driveopennosearch.reg is for opening drives

    That should fix it.
