    Can't change ADMIN password

For some reason through user accounts, when i try to change the password, i get a window pop-up saying, password cannot be changed.
    Any ideas what's going on?
    Thanks

well it seems i changed it through COMPUTER MANAGEMENT
just right clicked and chose "set password"
my question is this now, do you by default have 2 ADMIN accounts?
    one named, ADMINISTRATOR
other named (whatever name you named it) with ADMIN accessibility?
That's how it looks i have it set up.
one ADMIN profile with ADMIN access.
other MY-NAME profile with ADMIN access...is this right?

Administrator is THE admin account but you can also add administrative accounts that join the LOCAL administrators group. The main user added in setup joins this group automatically. In XP Home all users are added to this group by default.
I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?
