It has a problem with the boot files - usually running fixmbr or fixboot and chkdsk on the system drive will fix that. MS call the boot drive the system drive - ...don't ask! I could explain but then there's Google.

I'm using Windows 7 - you got a problem with that?
you can also try changing cables, check your bios to make sure its working fine in there, also if its sata get the latest drivers, is your windows disc corrupt.
