Does anyone know how I can do this??????/
Firstly I'm using Win XP Pro......good stuff.
When in a progran and you select open, you get a small dialog box open so you can search for files, is there anyway of increasing the size of the default dialog box (assuming you can't stretch it)..........
Also when you hover over a file a tooltip is displayed with information about that file, is it possible to increase the number of characters that it can display??

Welcome to the forum Tarak. With regard to your first question, the only way I see is to manually stretch the size of the dialogue box. I guess after a re-boot, that box would go back to its original size. I usually open my Files from Windows Explorer.
With regard to your second question, I don't think it is possible to increase the number of characters.

the above link will take you to the program that will help you solve this, but the program has to be running whilst you want the change.
As for changing the text in rollover dialogs I have no idea how to change that.
