Need the EXPERTS to show the way......

Is this for real? Or is as just so much Bull Crap as it seems to be?

Photoshop CS3 details emerge, two new Adobe apps set for release

Just months after the release of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Think Secret has obtained several notes regarding Photoshop CS3, as well as word that Adobe may be developing two other yet unannounced products: Adobe Acrobat 3D and Adobe Full Frame.

Adobe is exploring offering two versions of Photoshop CS3, a Standard version and a Premium version. According to one plan under consideration, some principle new features, such as Camera Raw 4, would be available to both versions, while other functionality, such as Vanishing Point 2, would be available with more advanced options in the Premium version. Still other features, such as rotoscoping that was introduced in CS2, would be moved exclusively to the Premium package.

Sources have also disclosed that Photoshop CS3 will include significant improvements to non-destructive image editing and that the software is prepped to receive a rather significant interface overhaul that will better organize tools and options. Tablet users will be pleased to learn that Photoshop CS3 will adopt a number of features Corel currently packs into Painter, including an easily rotatable canvas designed to mimic drawing on paper. Vanishing Point 2 will also improve Photoshop's perspective-based editing, introduced in CS2, by allowing objects to wrap around multiple surfaces, measure distances, and export to CAD applications. Photoshop CS3 will also deliver significant performance improvements to Camera Raw and include new measurement and scale tools.

Details surrounding Acrobat 3D are extremely limited at this point. The software may extend the 3D functionality Adobe introduced with Acrobat 7.0 Professional. Adobe seems likely to target CAD users, such as engineers and architects, with the software. Adobe appears to be considering pricing upwards of $1,000 a copy, with discounts for volume seating.

Taking hints from Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop CS3 will support Tablet PC, with significant improvements to non-destructive image editing and an easily rotatable canvas along with a more intelligent Vanishing Point tool aimed at CAD users. Adobe Acrobat 3D aimed at CAD users, such as engineers and architects, may extend the 3D functionality Adobe introduced with Acrobat 7.0 Professional. This could be bad news for companies like that develop software for creating interactive Adobe PDF files that include 3D objects (like Document3D)

Adobe Photo Pro might be geared towards photographers who handle numerous images regularly, offering extensive batch processing features and several automated features.

In other significant development, the shareholders of Adobe Systems and mcromdia overwhelming approved the merger of their companies. The $3.4 billion deal stills needs regulatory approval.
There were also 3 links with this, all were via a site called MEGAUPLOAD; and all were deleted. An image of the box for Photoshop CS1 (I think I saw oriental characters in the image) was also with this information.

Adobe needs to create a downsized economy version of Photoshop...

The name alone i'd buy for $20 next to any camera software on disc
