    I dont think you need to edit the config/dedicated.cfg file... if you place the file in your main folder then each client as they connect to the server will automatically download the file (as long as they 'allow downloading')...

    Where abouts is your server being hosted (country)?

    Some other mods have this patch installed (or similar), check out AWE and also eXtreme... i run a server that i alternate between the two

    thx will have a look at the mods you've mentioned

    also the admiralMOD looks pretty good too.
