    Recently View Files in Excel

    I know that under options there is a BOX that if you check you can specify, the number of recent files to display.

    However, my box is GRAYED out. What can I do to get this box un-grayed?

    Or what file is it that I can manually edit to correct this?

    Thanks!

    OR

    Copy the code to notepad and save the file with .reg extension. Double-click the file to import it into the registry.
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoRecentDocsHistory"=-
